Lower risk by managing your records! Breeze through your next information audit!

April 3, 2017

Good records management protects your office by mitigating risk. Harvard University Archives’ Records Management Service has done the heavy-lifting by developing policy and procedures to support your efforts. This free 1.5 hour-long workshop provides tools and advice on how long to keep your records, how to store them most efficiently, and what to do when you no longer need them. Whether you feel like you’re drowning in information, are worried about managing sensitive information, or are concerned about keeping records too long  - or not long enough -  this workshop is for you. Learn to implement Harvard's guide for records commonly found across University offices, deal with both paper and electronic formats, and how to properly dispose records. The next workshop will be held on May 24 at Lamont Library, from 10-11.30am. Register for Trash or Treasure now.
