Construction Audit Services

Construction Audit provides University-wide support for the pricing and review of costs on capital projects (e.g., new buildings, renovations, deferred maintenance, etc.). Typically, these include reviews of:

• Actual costs incurred under Guaranteed Maximum Priced (GMP) construction contracts
• Actual costs on change orders under Fixed Price Contracts
• Supervisory Labor Rate for the Construction Manager/General Contractor
• Subcontractor Labor Rates
• Project cost reviews and closeouts at the end of the project
• Exempt sales tax issues

In addition, we provide consulting services on allowable costs under the contract terminology and labor rates to include in Master Service Agreements.
